We host a wide range of private and public events, including (but not limited to): birthdays, book signings, concerts, engagements and proposals, custom marquee messages, photoshoots, filming, premieres, and special screenings.
No matter the event type, all rentals begin with the same inquiry form so we can understand your vision and needs. -
Pricing is customized based on your event type, date, timing, technical needs, and overall scope. Once you submit the rental inquiry form, our team will follow up with detailed pricing and availability.

Most rentals do use the screen, but it is not required. If you choose to use the screen, all content must be delivered in DCP format. Due to our state-of-the-art projection system, we cannot stream live content or play slides/videos directly from laptops
If you wish to screen a film that you do not own the rights to, we can assist with studio licensing on your behalf. Please note, licensing is an additional cost from the studio. Admission cannot be charged for any licensed screenings under any circumstances.

Yes — please submit the rental inquiry form to request approval.
Shoot rentals are only required for inside-theater shoots. Exterior shoots without a custom marquee are free, however we still appreciate advance communication to ensure your shoot does not conflict with other scheduled events.

Yes! We have no preferred vendors, so you’re free to use any caterer of your choice.

The Lido Theater does not supply, store, pour, serve, or dispose of alcohol.
If alcohol is present at your event:
You must bring it in
You must provide personnel to open, pour, and dispose of it
If alcohol is being sold, you must obtain the proper ABC liquor license
Security is required for any event with alcohol present (we can provide recommendations upon request)
These policies are in place for safety, compliance, and guest wellbeing.

We’re happy to accommodate tasteful event décor that enhances your experience at The Lido. Small-scale items such as balloons, photo stations, guest books, signage, and tabletop décor are welcome.
Please note:
Seasonal theater décor (September 1–January 2) is fixed and cannot be moved or altered
All décor plans must be approved by the General Manager in advance
No confetti, glitter, smoke effects, steam, or special effects
No nails, pushpins, tape, or materials that could damage walls, floors, or fixtures
Décor must be fully removed at the end of your event

We request that events invite/sell no more than 475 guests to allow space for walk-ins and last-minute arrivals
Events under 300 guests will be seated downstairs only (no exceptions)
Additional spaces:
Lobby capacity: 100 guests
Outdoor enclosed patio: 75 guests

Yes! The marquee can be rented as a standalone rental (half-day or full-day) or as part of a full event rental. Fill out the inquiry form and we’ll be in touch.

Yes — custom posters are permitted only during your event and only with a confirmed rental or photoshoot booking. We have 9 poster cases, size 27" x 40". Poster cases are subject to availability.

We offer:
State-of-the-art digital cinema projection with 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound
Up to six wireless handheld microphones (subject to availability)
We do not provide custom lighting, sound boards, or stage production equipment. Outside technical rentals and vendors are permitted.

No. Due to extremely limited storage capacity, we are unable to store food, beverages, décor, equipment, or supplies of any kind.
All items must be delivered during your scheduled setup time and removed immediately after your event. Items cannot be left for later pickup.
